John Ward has created a new facebook group for Andy, it’s called…

The Man, The Smith, The Legend

Already there’s been some really great photos posted that I wasn’t even aware existed. Big thanks to John Ward for doing this. What a star. I know that Andy would be smiling down on us today esspecially and approve.

I will try and bring some of the photos over to this site also so those without facebook can see them.

This Saturday marks the 4th anniversary of when we lost Andy. Athough we as a family always consider it to be the 15th as this is when he was last conscious, he was formally pronounced dead on the 17th. This is a horrible anniversary for all of us and not something we like remembering, but it would make us very happy if at 2pm on Saturday you could raise a glass and remember him for the legend he was! As this is how we should remember him and wish him well where ever he is now.

We all miss you lots mate… RIP.

Added Old Messages

I’ve found some old messages that I’ve added to the comments section of the site. I was given many of these messages by Chris Ives, Andrews very good friend, about three years ago. I’ve unfortunatly lost touch with Chris, but would love to speak to him again. If anyone has his details I would very much appreciate it.

Site opens

This website has been a long time coming and as we approach the 4th anniversary of Andy’s death, it feels like the right time to open the site. I apologize to everyone that has been patiently waiting all this time for this site to appear, but it’s been a difficult subject for me to deal with. Thankfully with the help and encouragement from friends, plus the magic of WordPress I am able to welcome you here.

The purpose of the site is to serve as a remembrance to Andy and a place where his family and friends can leave messages, find photographs and remember Andy for the legend he was. I would like people to send / upload any photos that you have of Andy so that I can share them here for everyone to see.

I have uploaded some assorted family photographs of Andy here:

James.
