4th Anniversary of Andys death
Nov 15th, 2007 by Jimmy
This Saturday marks the 4th anniversary of when we lost Andy. Athough we as a family always consider it to be the 15th as this is when he was last conscious, he was formally pronounced dead on the 17th. This is a horrible anniversary for all of us and not something we like remembering, but it would make us very happy if at 2pm on Saturday you could raise a glass and remember him for the legend he was! As this is how we should remember him and wish him well where ever he is now.
We all miss you lots mate… RIP.

I like to rememember him not for what happened that day but for him. Thanks for all the times we spent togeather mate
will always remember all the laughs we had, all the random silliness we got up to around pompey, gosport, dominos, slinky, brighton, london etc. etc.
Scal n Smithy’s legendary ‘balloon’ adapter is a timeless masterpiece of our combined engineering prowess!
your still my main man bruva. peace
This place IS missing a legend, greatly missed. First met the old boy back in the days of college when i was 17, bloody hell thats 8 years ago now. I met a cheeky young lad known by his posse (chris ives and the gang) as Smith. Cheeky young chap, had more facial hair than me and he was about 15. Turned out to be a really good mate. As kalv said he always had a money making scheme. No words can express how much you miss someone but one day we’ll all be re-united. Keep me a seat warm brother. Love ya man
Nick nack paddy wack give a dog a bone…..my bacon’s smelling fine, everytime i think of Smith that pops into my mind & that’s nearly everyday!!!!!!!! Damn i wish i could remember the rest it’s driving me nuts! I think that quote sums up the Smithy i knew… totally crazy, like everyone says he’s the man with the plan, the plan for making money, getting (more) women and most of all having a laugh! Smithy always takes the best spot in every house i live in and i wouldn’t have it any other way, it’s not that i need a pic of him to remember him, i just love staring at those rosey baby cheeks, every grandma’s dream :0) I like to think about him because it makes me smlie like i’m sure he does everyone else, for me that keeps him alive. I love you mate and i’m gonna miss you until we meet again, now don’t let me down, when i walk through those pearly gates i want to hear all about the havock you been causing. Until then mate x
there would never be a dull moment with smithy around, he left us with loads of good memories of our shenanigans over the years. i remember driving to pompey with smith and kirsty singing along to classical fm (er, yup) at full blast out of his stereo! and the legendary oompa-loompa song! good times. his unwavering cheeriness and enthusiasm always rubbed off on everyone, and that cheeky grin of his always cheered u up if u were having a bad day. il be raising a glass to my old pal tomorrow and im looking forward to bringing back the carnage with him one day! we’re one happy warrior short back here brother, you’re always in our thoughts. love u buddy. peace
Well smith what can I say? you were one hell a good friend. Never does a day pass were we are all missing you. You are the missing peice of the puzzle. And one day mate when I have enough money and I WILL BUID YOUR KIT CAR you so badly wanted and started but never finshed! One day, I still remeber in cardiff road when you came back to ours after work and had a smoke then fell asleep. upon waking up and going straight home. haha. Take care mate RIP. I will have a drink this weekend for you mate, not that I dont drink anyway but this ones for you!
